AMAZING EVENING!
With 7 kids, 4 jobs, 2 husbands and 4 dogs between us, my best friend Lisa and I have a VERY hard time getting our schedules in sync. So, with much planning and begging (bosses, co-workers, kids) we set a date to get our families together for a barbecue and swim at her house. Walking in to warm hugs, cold beverages, and a beautiful pool we knew that all the begging and planning was worth it!
We had the most AMAZING WONDERFUL visit. The food was wonderful (I hear, I actually still can't chew), the conversations and laughter were incredible, the memories shared (we have been friends since one of us was 12), kids swam, played pool and laughed together. There was no moment that was a regret, I swear I don't think I even heard the siblings bicker! The night did not end till the wee hours of the morning because no one wanted to say "good-bye!" We miss our time together and cherish EVERY second.
We love our extended family and REALLY need to make more time to be together!
